aspen the poem is a metaphor for life in two different worlds the roaster is a symbol of worlds tied together and the imagery of the farm symbolize a simple world tied inward
When i read this poem is like a system of people doing they're regular this through out their days until they go back home and sleep "until the rooster crows" that means the next day maybe the same or different
I feel this is an migrant person speaking. Because i've heard stories before from friends and some of these sentences sound the same like "The alarm rings. They eat and go to work." As well as "The truck runs full of people." And well its a routine for them, they wake up, eat, take off all together to go to work then come back to sleep, and it happens all over again.

An everyday span that leads to rotation. The lead of start to end.
ReplyDeleteEvery time the rooster crows it's a daily routine from the morning to the night.
